THE 10-33 PROMISE:
Designed for elite performers
The 10-33 Initiative builds resilience in top-performing athletes on the playing field as well as, and in the fields of law enforcement, fire and rescue, and emergency medicine.
The self-paced 10-33 Initiative program is available 24/7, for the comfort, convenience, and privacy of all program participants.

THE 10-33 INITIATIVE:
We’re here to help, with training and resources that support performance improvement, on and off the job.
Our 10-33 Initiative program deploys a comprehensive set of tools and techniques that restore your team members' physical and emotional wellness.
Support your dedicated first responders by enrolling them in the 10-33 Initiative from Game Change. This deceptively simple, science-based curriculum helps first responders to build resilience and manage stress.
The 10-33 Initiate has been field-tested and proven to enhance and restore resilience in elite performers who are expected to respond flawlessly under extreme pressure.
OUR PROCESS:
The 10-33 Initiative is a six-step process that is designed to adapt to each individual’s needs and objectives:
1. Initial Assessment
Each participant answers a series of questions that lead the 10-33 to provide a custom behavioral profile and a first responder ‘card’. All responses are confidential and private. Game Change does not reveal personal information to employers, supervisors, peers, or anyone else.
2. Self-Awareness
Brief, online exercises prompt the participant to become more aware of rote responses and poor habits that are triggered by stress. This awareness is an important first step in building resilience.
3. Custom Content.
Game Change develops and shares the stories of your first responder peers. Their experiences can help frame and normalize the challenges faced day in and day out by first responders across the country.
4. Intervention.
Participants’ anonymous responses are reviewed by Game Change and compared to baseline metrics for themselves and for their peer group. If a participant appears to need additional support, the 10-33 Initiative will serve up recommendations and references for follow-up.
5. Follow-Up Assessment.
After a specified time period -- usually, either 15 or 30 days -- the participant will answer another questionnaire, to identify improvements in attitude and performance that have resulted from the engagement with the 10-33 Initiative. If desired, the participant may enroll in a follow-up session at a later date.
6. Individual Impact.
As the skills and attitudes learned in the 10-33 Initiative are applied in day-to-day life, the resulting improvements in resilience and performance exert a positive impact on the participant’s co-workers, friends, and family members. When the participant is a public servant, the entire community benefits from the improvement in that person’s on-the-job attitude, readiness, and skill.
THE 10-33 PILOT PROGRAM
We began our journey by conducting a pilot program with a select group of first responders at a large agency.
We designed the 10-33 Initiative to improve the lives and livelihoods of First Responders and emergency managers. We applied our tested, science-based approach with our pilot population, deploying a comprehensive program of assessment, customizable content, interactive exercises, and resilience training. The resulting process was intuitive and fully accessible, 24/7, on desktop and mobile devices, to ensure participants’ privacy and convenience.
10-33 PILOT DETAILS:
Collaborated with first responders and related professionals to provide stories and content
Game Change set up each participant with a customized portal with individualized, protected access to the curriculum.
Feedback included detailed behavioral analytics.
Utilized an authoritative resilience measurement tool for pre and post participation assessments.
Offered online asynchronous, fully confidential intervention opportunities to further enhance resilience training as needed.
Evaluated all participant responders with Game Change data scientists and behavioural analysts.
WE BUILT:
A self-paced training curriculum proven to build resilience and is accessible 24/7 from your computer or mobile device.
Based on the successful pilot program, as well as years of experience with top performers in other high-pressure jobs, the 10-33 Initiative is now available for emergency responders and their supervisors in fire and rescue, law enforcement, and medical organizations.
All that’s needed are an open mind and a modest time commitment --
typically less than 15 minutes per day.
